This is a first! All the (160+) songs I have recorded so far have been my own original compositions - but this is a previously unrecorded song by John Brown of Gasworks fame, written some time in the 1980s. I originally did this as a tribute recording to go up on the 'Whatever Happened to Gasworks' website - but it's a great song and John has kindly given me permission to use it on 'German Hat Trick'. I've arranged it for guitar, Gypsy violin and accordion... Steve Franks thinks I've given it a rather sinister air - more of a creepy stalker song than a love song! (He did an even creepier German Techno version for the Gasworks site, so what does he know...) Anyway, thanks for letting me use it John!
